1. Shipping & Order Processing

How does shipping work?

Handtaskopen partners with BrandsGateway, our fulfilment partner. We do not hold stock ourselves. Instead, BrandsGateway handles the storage, packaging, and shipping of your order directly to your delivery address.

Your order is carefully prepared and shipped by our partner.

Where do we deliver?

We currently deliver within Belgium only.

How much does shipping cost?

The shipping contribution is €9 per order within Belgium, unless otherwise stated at checkout.

How long does delivery take?

Orders are generally dispatched within 24–48 hours after processing, through our freight partners: UPS, DHL, FedEx. Delivery within Europe typically takes approximately 3–5 business days after dispatch.

Please note that these are estimated delivery times and not guaranteed delivery dates. Delays may occur due to weekends, public holidays, courier services, or circumstances beyond our control.

Can I track my order?

Where tracking is available, you will receive tracking information so you can follow your shipment.

Please ensure that your delivery address and contact details are correct when placing your order.

2. Returns & Right of Withdrawal

Can I return my order?

Yes. If you are a consumer purchasing online, you generally have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason, subject to applicable legal exceptions.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact us at info@handtaskopen.be within 14 days of receiving your order.

We will provide you with the return instructions and the information needed to complete your return.

What condition should the item be in?

Please take reasonable care of the item when inspecting it. To help us process your return, please include the original tags, accessories, dust bag, box, and packaging where applicable.

You may handle the item as necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning. You may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for that purpose.

Who pays for return shipping?

If you return an item because you have changed your mind, you are responsible for the direct cost of €45, provided that you were informed of this obligation before placing your order.

If your item arrives damaged or you receive the wrong product, please contact us before returning it. We will review the issue and provide further instructions.

When will I receive my refund?

Once you have validly exercised your right of withdrawal, we will refund the payments due, including the original standard delivery costs where required by law.

Refunds will be processed within the applicable legal timeframe. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned item or you have provided evidence that it has been sent back, whichever occurs first.

Refunds will be made using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

3. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

We want you to receive your order in the expected condition.

If your item arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect product, please contact us as soon as possible at info@handtaskopen.be.

Please include:

• Your order number.

• A brief description of the issue.

• Clear photographs of the product, its tags, packaging, and any visible damage, where applicable.

We will review your report and explain the next steps. Please do not return the item before receiving our instructions.

Your statutory consumer rights, including any applicable legal guarantee, remain unaffected.
